Overview

Our online yoga course is a foundational course designed for all levels of yogis. It is ideal for yoga students who wish to deepen their existing practice, want to learn how to teach yoga to others, and for yoga teachers wishing to expand their existing skills.

This training is recognized by Yoga Alliance USA and upon completion, you can teach yoga anywhere in the world. The course focuses equally on four educational categories: Asana practice, Yoga Philosophy & Ayurveda, Functional Anatomy and Teaching Skills & The Art of Adjustments. Upon successful completion, graduates may register with Yoga Alliance USA and UK and can teach yoga anywhere in the world.

We welcome “stiff” students, students suffering from an injury or other health challenges, and we encourage their attendance! Pregnant women are welcome. If you love learning, have a body, and can breathe – this training is for you.

You will study with a team of four dedicated and experienced instructors.

    Martin Sitteck

    Core Subject: Ashtanga Yoga, Hands-on Adjustments

    Martin Sitteck started his regular Yoga practice in 2008. He has completed 200-hour Ashtanga Yoga teacher training from Sampoorna Yoga, India. He has also attended 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Mahadevi Ashram, Guatemala. Further, he learned the Adjustment and Alignment techniques from 200-hour YTT at Tattva Yogashala in Rishikesh and 40-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa YTT in Italy with David Swenson. His great sense of humor helps him interact with the students even better as he shares his skillful knowledge with them.

    Joanna Vladescu

    Core Subject: Vinyasa Yoga and Teaching Methodology

    Joanna has been practicing Yoga since 2005 and has been engrossed in the practice ever since. She has completed Yoga teacher training in advanced Vinyasa Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga in Goa, India. She also did a 50-hours tune-up course with Noah Maze. Now, she is teaching VinyasaYoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and handstands. In her classes, she emphasizes on bandhas and breathes and uses therapeutic methods to transform the lives of the students.

    Core Subject: Meditation, Philosophy and Classical Hatha Yoga

    Laura is from New York and she has been practicing Yoga since she was 14 years of age. She completed 200-hour YTT in Meditation and Classical Hatha Yoga from an ashram in Guatemala. She also completed 100-hour plus YTT and 300-hour YTT in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga at Kranti Yoga in Goa, Indi

As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic,  we have decided to take our 200-hour yoga courses online. We are grateful that Yoga Alliance is now making an exception and it's allowing yoga schools to offer contact hours in a virtual format. This means that all sessions that would otherwise be in-person, can be taught virtually. 

As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic,  we have decided to take our 200-hour yoga courses online. We are grateful that Yoga Alliance is now making an exception and it's allowing yoga schools to offer contact hours in a virtual format. This means that all sessions that would otherwise be in-person, can be taught virtually. 

Wherever you find yourself at this moment, using this time to emerge stronger and more conscious is something we can all benefit from as a global community.  We are working hard to provide you with timely tools and resources so that you can move forward with your practice and training. We would like to provide students several options to do so in order to meet individual needs as best as we can. 

Our online yoga training will be a mix of high quality pre-recorded classes and live interactions with your instructors. The pre-recorded videos will be uploaded on the Teachable platform and will consist of about 20-25 hours of content per week. These classes can be taken at your own pace with options to re-watch.

Live class hours will be limited to ensure you the most scheduling flexibility, meeting live for 7 hours per week for five Saturdays. Live classes will start at 09:00 am Eastern European Summer Time (09:00 am for Greece and Romania, 08:00 am for France and Italy, 07:00 am for the UK) and will run until 13:30, followed by a one-hour break and then starting again from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm.   

  • Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga.
  • Alignment break-down for 40 yoga poses.
  • Modifications, variations, and use of props.
  • Hands-on adjustments techniques (a module which you will not find in other 200-hour courses).
  • Teaching skills (how to give verbal instructions, how to demonstrate poses) & sequencing.
  • Yoga philosophy and introduction to Ayurveda. 
  • Pranayama and meditation techniques.
  • Yoga anatomy: functional anatomy applicable to yoga practice.
  • Common injuries and how to avoid them.
  • Teaching your fellow students and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Workshops for more complex and challenging poses.
  • The business of yoga, yoga career, and marketing.
