Ahoy! Our names are Steffi and Raymond Ninow, we are husband and wife and are the proud owners of Cape Point Surf Yoga Camp, a culmination of many years of big dreams and hard work. Steffi is the yoga instructor and I am the surf instructor/guide. We met and fell in love in Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa, in 2013 and have since sailed, travelled and worked around the world. We have tried our hardest to soak up the very best aspects of the beautiful destinations we have travelled to and apply them to our dream project, Cape Point Surf Yoga Camp. So think about coming and sharing the stoke with us! We are a brand new operation and are full of life, so you can definitely expect to get the most out of your trip. You are not just another person coming through our camp, you are part of the family. We really want to impress you so that when you go home you can share the love with friends and family and send us some more people to stoke the fire that fuels the dream! We provide high quality surf lessons (2 per day) for those who want to learn and serious surf guiding for those who want to get the best waves in Cape Town. We believe that yoga and surf compliment one another and so therefore we offer yoga classes in our new yoga studio. We also want to show our guests just how beautiful Cape Town is so we often go out to different food markets, or events after surfs and yoga. We also encourage people to visit places such as the wild Cape Point and Table Mountain, iconic parts of a Cape Town experience. I was born and raised on the South Coast of KwaZulu – Natal, South Africa, and have been immersed in the ocean from birth and have made a life of competitive sailing and surf instructing in many surf camps around the world. This deep connection to the ocean, coupled with years of experience in hospitality and a degree in Communication Science, has led me to this dream that we are making. Steffi was born and raised in a small village in North – West Germany where she was put on a horse before she could walk! She gave up competitive horse riding to gather experience in hospitality and logistics before completing a degree in Micro-Economics. Steffi realised many years ago that my true passion lies within the enlightenment of body and mind through the practice of yoga and has been instructing ever since. After we married, Steffi took the brave leap and permanently moved to South Africa to make her dream surf yoga camp come alive.
