You can rejoin Yoga Eco Oasis afterwards at the airport for transfer. Taxi, bus, or train are cheap and easy to arrange between Malaga airport and city.

Important information

Retreats start on Sunday evenings and last till Friday afternoon. It is best to arrive Sunday morning and leave Friday early evening. The yoga retreats are suitable for students of all levels including beginners because all the classes are personalized for the students on each particular yoga retreat. Their aim is for you to move at your own pace, at a pace that you enjoy and feel comfortable at. The yoga taught at their yoga retreat center uses movement and flow from one posture to another to bring the student closer in awareness to the breath and to give them the experience of meditation. Practitioners from all backgrounds should gain benefits of meditation and inner silence by practising at Yoga Eco Oasis.

The classes involve postures that can put pressure on the uterus. Whilst the exercises help with your health at normal times, they may disturb the developing baby during pregnancy so if you are pregnant, Yoga Eco Oasis prefers you go to a retreat that will help you with the specific parts of yoga that are designed for pregnancy, such as breathing and hip opening. -Additional information For more information, ask your questions directly to Yoga Eco Oasis, who will be happy to assist you.

Yoga Eco Oasis was created by a group of people with the purpose of creating a space in nature where one can connect with cosmic energy and above all, with oneself.  The space started by being an eco space where nature was respected and from where Ana and José Antonio’s knowledge, as co-founders of Eco Oasis, could be shared as much in terms of nutrition as natural health.

Our objective is to make available to you all the necessary elements to help you clear the way to self realisation and achieve personal development.

Location

This retreat will take place at the Axarquia region - situated in the eastern part of the province of Málaga. Competa is an inland village in the Axarquia, well-known for the Andalusian legacy of Muslim rule.

The location is a privileged tourist destination surrounded by olive groves, almond trees, and a 4000-hectare wildlife reserve in Sierra Almijara, just 15 to 20 kilometres from the main tourist attractions of the Costa del Sol, including the beaches of Torre del Mar, the famous caves of Nerja, and within striking distance of Granada, Sierra Nevada, and other places of interest.
