200 hours yoga teachers training in Goa is an intensive 4-week program that covers various aspects of yoga fundamentals and an exploration into transforming our weaknesses into our strengths and source of power.

Sonam is the founder and director of Himalayan Yoga Bliss. Her aim is to make yoga teacher training reachable to everyone in order to help students from various backgrounds and cultures from all around the world to experience the mystical powers of the Himalayas and the inspiration it has bestowed upon yogis for centuries. She is a certified E-RYT 200 and RYT 500 yoga instructor who likes to connect the eastern philosophies of yoga to the contemporary west.

He is a teacher who presents the intricate yoga philosophy and its practice in a simple, down to earth and humorous manner. In his classes, Rakesh gives his original analysis and views on the writings of various spiritual traditions, mystics and philosophers from around the world.

Kathryn demonstrates the potential of yoga as a medium for profound healing and emotional and spiritual growth. Teaching annually at Himalayan Yoga Bliss, her formal training includes Ashtanga, Sivananda Hatha, Yin, Yoga for Children and Vipassana meditation.
Goa has long been considered one of India’s most stunning locations with its golden – sand beaches, incredible food and welcoming locals. Our new school is situated a few minutes from the best beach in India as voted by TripAdvisor – Agonda beach. The small fishing village is full of beautiful friendly locals, bazaars and shops, restaurants serving delicious food and the perfect surrounding for yoga practitioners.
The course is designed in a way as to not only serve the physical needs but also to break the mental limitations of our students. Our yoga teacher training includes advance physical postures to less intensive and more restorative sessions. During all our yoga certification programs, we introduce students to the various styles of Hatha yoga and its contemporary practices such as Ashtanga yoga and multi-styled themed Vinyasa flow. We focus on accurate alignment of these styles, cues on commands, physical and spiritual awareness of dynamic yoga postures.
Classical yoga philosophy of Patanjali Yoga Sutras is intertwined throughout the course. Introduction to many aspects of ancient and contemporary meditation, Pranayama breathing techniques, Ayurveda and its relationship with yoga, scientific benefits of Sanskrit mantra chanting, yoga mudras, Kriya inner cleansing techniques and various other elements that make yoga a complete practice. You will leave the course truly open with a new understanding of yoga, your ability to relate to this world, and most importantly, to yourself.

At our Goa training, we provide newly built, fully furnished cottages with a balcony overlooking nature. They are uniquely built, wooden throughout and have been carefully crafted with eco friendly materials furnished with love.
Accommodation is on a sharing basis with two people in each room and a private bathroom for each room. If desired, private rooms are available at an extra cost.
We have teamed up with our local partner, the Blue Planet organic health cafe, a beautiful and innovative health food restaurant that has been at the forefront of the organic and vegan food movement in this area for many years.
Blue Planet café provides daily vegetarian food to our trainees. Our yoga teacher training menu caters freshly prepared food with almost all ingredients made from scratch by a loving teams of chefs who love what they do. This includes a variety of smoothies, juices, salads, soups, delicious organic vegetarian food and healthy desserts in a Sattvic inspired diet.
Our syllabus for yoga teacher training course in Goa is carefully tailored to provide our students with the tools needed for teaching and deepening self-practice. Technical workshops will emphasise the more demanding and advanced postures along with a breakdown of various styles and a thorough introduction and immersion into its alignment and adjustments.
These workshops are held and practiced to assess the progress being done in our everyday Asana practice session. The yogic Asanas are enjoyable and interactive with an opportunity to explore the limitations and intelligence of our physical body.
