Overview
Aerial yoga is a new kind of Yoga that combines traditional yoga poses, pilates and dance with the use of a hammock. It provides a total body workout and the aerial yoga movements force every part of the body to move and stretch improving flexibility.
Great for improving upper body strength - it's one of the best ab workouts around. Aerial workouts count as cardio too while providing strength-building benefits.
Aerial yoga helps you to move freely by putting in less effort and counteracting gravity.

Awesome surf camp I had such a nice time at Mondo! The village is beautiful, great yoga and surf classes. All the people I’ve met here were lovely and very social to organize plans to go out for dinners and drinks in the evenings. I strongly recommend this place, the only thing I wish I’d known is that 7 days is only the minimum stay - I would’ve stayed longer otherwise! :)

One week in paradise Mondo is a great experience. We stayed one week with the surf package and had lots of fun. The place is a bit of the main streets in Canggu and there really quite and has a relaxed, chilling atmosphere. Surf lessons habe been lots of fun with a good relation between surf guides and students. Somedays it felt like a one on one session. Afternoon yoga with Nico has been an eye opening experience to me ( had never done it before). Book if you want to relax in a perfect retreat. If you are looking for partying every night you might prefer a place in town.

Aerial Yoga is quite a new form of yoga, that includes both traditional yoga and Pilates movements jazzed up with dance-inspired exercises and postures that defy gravity. True to its namesake, this sport is practiced by using a hammock or a swing of soft material that is fixed to the ceiling, making movements easier and providing support. Similar to traditional type, this activity also grants several benefits adding some unique ones that will definitely make you try this new way of working out.
