Fabulous getaway! What a wonderful introduction to Nepal! Rajan, Niru and their family are so hospitable and welcoming, the food is fabulous and Rajan offers a yoga practice that adapts to everyone's level of experience. Thoroughly enjoyed sharing a few days with this lovely family and would love to go back again. Be sure to pack lots of layers as the temperature cools down a fair bit in the evening.
Perfect yoga and hiking getaway I had a really lovely time at Niru yoga homestay. Rajan is a really great, knowledgable teacher and provides classes suitable for complete beginners to the super advanced yogis. Niru’s cooking is amazing and the rooms are really lovely. This is a great retreat for anyone looking for a home away from home away from the madness of Kathmandu.

The talented Yoga Guru, Rajan Bastola is the first yoga teacher in Nagarkot. He is affiliated with the Yoga Alliance, Australia, and specializes in Yoga and the traditional Vedic philosophy, Gymnastic, and acrobatics. He was inspired by the Padini tradition of Yoga and Taoism and has travelled in the Himalayan and the Indian continent in pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment. He started practicing Yoga at the age of 15 years and has practiced vegetarianism since then. He is the vanguard in Nepal to open the first Yoga school with homestay facility. His teachings incorporate sound therapy, physiotherapy, touch therapy, cosmic therapy, and spiritual therapy to ensure the restoration of the power of body and soul. For his Survival Himalayan Yoga Trekking program, he teaches at an altitude of 4500meters which is quite outstanding.
Enjoy a week full of self-love on this retreat that will be organized in the breath-taking village of Nagarkot, Nepal, which is located 22kms northeast of Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). The village is popular for its beautiful views of the Himalayas, including Mouth Everest. While here, you can enjoy leisure walks in the mountains exploring rivers and waterfalls. You can also spot various animals and plants along with discovering Ayurvedic herbs and learning how to use them.

Spend your nights at the Yoga Home Nepal while on this retreat. The homestay has an elegant yoga hall, peaceful meditation area, Wi-Fi, hot water facility in all rooms, backyard garden with delicious fruit trees, and nutritious traditionally prepared food. Located near a waterfall and jungle, the venue also boasts of stunning mountain views.
All our rooms are clean and super comfortable with bed and bedding suitable for each season and an attached bathroom. We have one single room, three double rooms, and triple rooms.
Clean eating is at the core of our yoga retreat. We strive to provide nourishing and delicious food and for this, we get our vegetables directly from the organic farm. The food is prepared in traditional Nepalese fashion with a wood fire on an earthen stove.

Breakfast: Porridge with dates and raisins or coconut, bananas, papaya or chickpeas with Ayurvedic herbal tea. We also offer samosa, paratha, upma, and Nepalese breakfast.
Lunch and Dinner: Dal (pulses), fresh vegetables (pumpkin, carrot, cauliflower, spinach, and peas), rice and chapatti.
