Walk this thousand years old pilgrimage to visit the tomb of Saint James in the stunning cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. The Camino de Santiago is also known as the Way of Saint James and it was first travelled by King Alphonse II in the 9thcentury. Thousands of people walk to this cathedral from since then.
On this trip, the participants will be guided from Santiago or Coruna by the local guide and yoga instructor. This walk will be a spiritual journey and a much-needed relief from daily life. Along with digital detox, the participants will get to connect with nature and immerse in deep self-reflection.
Omm Retreats has carefully planned the trip so as to indulge the participants in daily yoga and meditation practices towards reaching Camino De Santiago. This trip is sure to turn into a truly inspiring experience for the participants.
During the walk, the guests will practice yoga every morning along with guided meditation. The yoga and meditation sessions will be of two hours and are designed in a way that they will suit a beginner and challenge an advanced practitioner. The trip is planned thoughtfully and the logistics are taken care off by the organizer. A support vehicle (minibus) will be available to carry the luggage and in the afternoons, the participants will arrive at hotels to get rest, relax, and regain strength for the next day.
During the trip, the participants will be staying in different hotels that offer private space for yoga practices. Each day before breakfast the participants will practice yoga and restore the balance between mind, body, and spirit through pranayama (breathing), asanas (postures), mantras, and meditation.
Depending on the day the techniques will include Kundalini/Hatha/Yin Yoga and Samatha meditations, which will guide you to practice mindfulness. Through this, we will set the tone of the day and embark on our journey ahead.

A lot of people start from Sarria as it is around 100kms away from Santiago. This will be our starting point. From here we will take the route of Portomarin to Palas de Rei to Arzúa and finally to our destination in Santiago.
The guests will have to fly to Santiago or Coruna and from there we will take care of everything.
This is how the journey will be -
- May 12: Transfer from Santiago de Compostela or La Coruña to Sarria. Dinner and accommodation at Rectoral de Goián.
- May 13: Yoga. The first stage on foot from Sarria to Portomarín. (Total 22 km) Dinner and accommodation at Hotel PousadaPortomarin.
- May 14: Yoga, breakfast, and Stage from Portomarín to Palas de Rei (24 km). Dinner and accommodation in Complejo Cabaña.
- May 15: Yoga, breakfast and stage from Palas de Rei to Castañeda (22.7 km). Dinner and accommodation in Complejo Cabaña.
- May 16: Yoga, breakfast and stage from Castañeda to O Pedrouzo (26 km). Dinner and accommodation in Pazo de Sedor.
- May 17: Yoga, breakfast and stage from O Pedrouzo to Santiago de Compostela (20 km). Dinner and accommodation in Santiago at Rua de Vilar.
- May 18: Breakfast and visit of Santiago. End of the journey.
