My fourth time here! Another success. I have been coming to Peace Retreat since they opened 8 years ago. I have completed a teacher training with Kevin, visited as a guest and participated in the volunteer program.
Each experience has been life changing for me and I now consider this my place to visit when I am in transition, when I feel stuck or need peace to heal and regroup. I always leave feeling clear, empowered and committed to what I’m taking on next. T

Amazing Experience Peace Retreat is absolutely gorgeous!
The property is beautiful and so close to a quiet and peaceful Playa Negra beach. The owner's, Kevin and Serena are so down to earth, helpful, and supportive.
It was a space where i could comfortably explore within myself, and also have opportunities to connect with others.
Definitely had some memorable times in yoga classes, as well as being able to access the 2 yoga studios any time of day for personal practice or just enjoying a silent meditation or solo dance parties with background jungle sounds!

Peace Retreat and Swastha Yoga International is the outcome of Kevin’s long-cherished dream of creating a unique space for conscious integrated learning in the form of a yoga-inspired wellness retreat and learning centre in Costa Rica. He has been practicing as well as teaching yoga for over 15 years. Additionally, he has co-founded and co-developed yoga studios in Canada, several yoga programs and schools in the USA. He also closely worked with Baron Baptiste and contributed to Baptiste Power Yoga Institute teacher training programs as a Program Team Manager, Production Supervisor, and Facilitator.

- 4:00 PM- Restorative Yoga (Sunset Sunday exempt)
Our wellness center is specifically designed to augment your experience of exploring nature by creating open-air common areas with elegant and well-appointed accommodation choices. You can select from the following types of rooms as per your convenience –

Strongly believing in the saying ‘food is medicine’ we prioritize our guests’ health and nutrition requirements. We dedicatedly buy organic, locally sourced and in-season produce and prepare the meals with a wide range of traditional ingredients. The meals are prepared with Ayurveda food combining principles. Also, as promoters of sustainable living and preservation of the environment, we support the local economy and culture to the best of our ability.
We do not buy processed foods or imported foods to curtail our carbon footprint and support the local farmers. In our menu, you will find locally prepared breakfasts along with detox drinks, coffee, and tea with an option of juice, smoothie, and snacks for purchase at the on-site café.
Our peaceful environment is infused with the generous vibes of Costa Rica. The retreat takes place in the lap of nature, surrounded by the simple, peaceful, and beautiful environment away from the noise of today’s stressful life.
You will find our practice and location perfect to reset, rejuvenation, reconnect, and de-stress. We are delighted to note that our guests regularly tell us they are able to return home feeling revitalized and happy along with a renewed sense of purpose and clarity.
