Happy Healthy 5 day Yoga & Meditation Retreat, Pokhara Nepal
I had a wonderful stay at Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat. I stayed 5 days and did the detox. It was challenging to go longer periods without food and salt but totally worth it. The food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the morning meditations by the holy river. Recommend to everyone who wants to detox and reconnect with themselves and nature.
I completed the 5-day detox retreat and really loved it. Albert has many years of experience in the field; after a long discussion of my complaints, he gave me good tips about nutrition and explained how to help myself by changing my diet. We ate organic vegetarian food every day and although it was simple, it tasted surprisingly good. I was also given an interesting mix of super powerful Nepali herbs every day, some of which are quite rare I believe (if you want, you can also buy them and continue detoxing your body after the retreat). The location was beautiful too, with snowy mountaintops so close by. Yoga, meditation, enema, full-body massage.. It all made me feel very clean, fresh and relaxed in both my mind and body. I’d definitely recommend the retreat to anyone.

The retreat is located very near the awesome Seti River Canyon. Each morning, you will start the day with a walk into the canyon and a yoga and meditation session overlooking the river. Connecting with nature is an important part of our health vacation experience. Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat is in a quiet part of town but only a short walk to the Lakeside tourist district on Lake Fewa. Pokhara town offers ample adventures: paragliding, trekking, river rafting, biking, swimming, and much more.The skill level is beginner and intermediate with separate sessions for each level. If you are advanced you may practice on your own at optional times and locations around the retreat grounds.

Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat's locationis a special as we live in a neighborhood that is very much like a village, even though they are at the outer edge of Pokhara City. This allows their guests to experience a village life style and get to know their friendly neighbours and the warm Nepali culture.
We are also close to the amazing Seti River canyon, where you can swim most of the year. It's a great place for chilling in nature, watching the eagles catch fish and occasionally seeing hundreds of monkeys passing by on their search for food. The retreat is also our home and we invite you to join in our "Homestay" ambiance. Come as a travelor, leave as a friend.
- 06:30 Pranyama (breathing practice)
- 07:00 Have green tea prepared with fresh lemon, ginger, and lemongrass
- 07:30. Go for a guided walk and meditation in the Seti River Canyon
- 08:30 to 10:00 Vinyasa yoga practice
- 10:00 Breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola or choice, toast coffee or tea if you prefer. Special diet requests are offered.
- 11:15 - 12:30 Yoga theory and philosophy. A time for questions and discussion
- 13:30 Lunch (a variety of vegetarian meals). Free time to relax, get an optional massage or explore the neighborhood and the Seti River canyon
- 15.00 - 16:30 Hatha yoga class and mindfulness meditation
- 18:30 Warm vegetable soup and vegetable salad or traditional Nepali dinner. (Dahl Baht)

Note : Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat offers acupressure and Swedish style massage at a cost of $10 USD/hr.

We are happy to accommadate all individual diet requests. We are primarily vegitarian but we can provide some chicken or fish if you prefer.
You will be introduced to healthy local Nepali food prepared by Radha in the traditional style. If you like, she will teach you as well. Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat uses organic food from their garden, as well as from a local organic farm. You may request a diet that suits your preferences including Western-style if you prefer. Tea, water, and fruit are available all day.

Payment And Cancellation Policy
Guests are requiered to pay a 30% deposit, Balance due on arrival. Our all inclusive programs cast $29USD/person/night. If only one person books the price is $39USD/night.
