Sharing an experience of about 35 years, these teachers promise to bring a transformation in the lives of the students with Yoga, Meditation, and Breath work activities.
The avid beauty of Tuscan mountains, of which the poets and adepts speak alike, has been spoken of at length not just in literature, but in art too, which has been passed on, copied, and plundered. Take a deep breath into majestic beauty of this piece of god’s work.
“There aren’t enough words tell you how extraordinary my retreat experience was with you last week. Suffice it to say, it was life-changing.”
“I will never forget this wonderful experience. The environment lent itself to honest self-reflection.”
Core Subject: Yoga and Ayurveda
Encouraging students to invoke on the path of self referred intuitive sensing, Patricia has been a guide to many since 1981. She helps her pupils to understand that they came from the ethereal divine love. Following the works of Iyenagr yoga, Ayurveda, Somatics, Source Point therapy, this god’s child has sat with Peruvian Shamans and many teachers from the tradition of the Ramana Maharishi. Her work is known and is referred to as Continuum of Awareness. Her teachings are informed on the principles of Vipasana and she urges the practitioners to enjoy the silence and turn within for all answers worth answering.
Surya Chandra Das
Core Subject: Yoga Teacher
Invested into the filed of yoga teaching since 1990, Surya Chandra Das is a devotee of T.K.V. Desikachar in Madras, India, and also closely follows and reckons with the work of Victor van Kooten, Angela Farmer, Richard Miller, a variety of teachers in the Iyengar tradition and the teachings of yin yoga. Amalgamating all of these teachings, this loving soul brings the principle of non-duality to the class and preaches oneness with the universe. He emphasizes that the participants should not be under the pressure of any dogma, ritual, or technique rather find their own truth.
Enriched with history, art, and culture, Tuscany has seen many dignified names in the history since renaissance period. Located in the Southern Tuscany is a beautiful villa, Le Pianore, in Monticello. Speaking of wood ceilings, white walls, and country feel, this house offers large open spaces as it is spread on a vast land and overlooks a forest.
Rural beauty at the hands of ancient richness comes to life and it works as a perfect resort to practice inner work, as silence and ease sits amidst us, here.
For those who would like to indulge in some exploring, can visit the world-renowned vineyards, experience the roman thermal baths, or visit the Etruscan tombs along with taking a stroll in the nearby medieval villages.
The retreat is housed in Le Pianore, an 800-year-old villa, in the hills of Monte Amiata, Monticello. Where the students can find breath and rhythm matching the pace of a silent Tuscan countryside life.
Both physical and mental transformation of the practitioners will be undertaken by the teachers with the help of 1000s of year old technique of yogic science.
Including poses from the Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Restorative yoga, the sessions will engage the student to go within with the rules of Vipasana, and bring an everlasting change in their outlook towards urban living.
With an intention to cater to a large audience, we have come up with a few different packages:
- Triple room sharing with 2 bathrooms at $995 per person
- Shared twin bed room with private bath at $1,595 per person
- Couple (Queen bed) with private bath at $1595 per person
- Single with shared bath (with one other room) at $1,795
- Single with private bath at $1,995
The course curriculum is designed with the mindset of enhancing the comfort of the guests. The retreat will be divided into majorly three sessions: Yoga, Meditation, and Breath work.
With an aim to bring the attention back to one’s true intrinsic nature, the yoga sessions will guide our guest to allow a deep listening of the body’s language. We, at Rolling Meadow Retreat, believe that our body is deeply intelligent and when we quiten our conscious mind, we can listen to the signs and omens around us.
With the help of yin yoga and restorative yoga, the sense will open and a profound awakeningwill ensue that will lead the practitioners on a path of self-exploration and discovery.
Following the steps of Vipasana, where our souls do the talking, while the mouth say the least, the school bring meditation sessions with an intention to allow a familiarity to develop with our essential nature, which is compromised because of modern hustle bustle. The guests will witness mindfulness, ease, sense of stillness with and after these sessions.
One of the corner stones to bring awareness and transformation in our lives is through Breath Work. We, at Rolling meadows, lay great emphasis on this art form. Experience expanded consciousness as you match your focus with your breath with every inhalation and exhalation. Few of the outright benefits of these sessions are increased vitality, enhanced well being, heightened focus, and longevity.
