Becky Khalil
Core Subject: Yin Yoga Teacher
Becky Khalil is the Founder and Director of Shanti Atma Yoga. She is the lead trainer and loves working with both her students and her heartfelt teaching team. Free spirited is her nature at heart with passion and fearlessness to reach her goals, dreams and vision, and to help everyone she meets along the way to reach theirs. Becky believes that anything is possible and loves to watch people thrive in following the fire led by their hearts. Becky comes from a meditation background, however she takes solace in the practice of Yoga, Mindset, Aromatherapy and Meditation, all together when things get tough. Igniting self empowerment, authenticity and divine self through freedom, expression and self care is her vision for everyone she crosses paths with. She believes that becoming yourself is your truest, realest and most beautiful venture one can embark on. Her moto is to nourish your ambitions rather than feed your fears. She hopes to meet you somewhere in the world someday on your unique and quirky journey that is life.

Living among the trees and waking up with Yin yoga will give you a different perspective to the way that you can lead your life and a well-deserved break while learning, developing, and expanding your expertise in Yin yoga, fascial studies, and Chinese medicine. The accommodation will be shared in traditional bamboo huts at Suan Sati.
We only serve fresh, whole foods, plant-based (vegan) meals prepared with mostly organic vegetables sourced locally or grown in our garden. It’s refreshing to have control over exactly what goes into our food and into our bodies, and we invite you to peek into our open air kitchen to see the process. We minimize our use of processed foods, preferring to make our own curry pastes, peanut butter, and brownies.
This takes a little bit more time, but it adds a LOT of extra love to the food that we prepare, and you can taste the difference. Our chef Pee Jaa enjoys using the kitchen as her playground for experimenting with local Northern Thai favorites, fusion dishes, and desserts that will make you rethink the notion that food this healthy can’t possibly taste this good.

Suan Sati
Suan Sati’s intention is to be a place to practice Buddha-Dhamma through meditation, asana yoga, ecological integration, and community living. Underlying this intention is the view that every moment is an opportunity to practice. The space is made conducive to practice by returning to this intention throughout the day in morning meditation, asana yoga classes, observation and interaction with nature, and in the invitation to bring mindfulness into daily life.
