Ayurvedic trip We visited this fantastic location at March 2019, we stayed for 2 weeks. Main reason was to have Ayurvedic treatment. It was a new for us, and we enjoyed every minute!!!
The hospitality of staff was amazing and well organized. The medical service and treatment itself was gorgeous. Dr Nalin is a great specialist and very nice person and I have no doubt about his knowledge !
Within 2 week of stay we felt changes and even later, when we get home, we notice improvement in our health status (myself and my wife too).
The Soul resort is well equipped, offering very good food and TOP service. We are looking to come back next year to repeat our great experience !

Authentic ayurveda treatments in amazing surroundings I stayed at Soul Resorts for 3 nights in December 2018, first of all to experience the ayurveda treatments, and to fully relax.
The stay was amazing - from the arrival I was completely taking care of and pampered. I felt like the staff was always attentive to me needs, without being overbearing, and always friendly. During the full three days there was absolutely nothing missing.
The ayurveda doctor was very professionel and experienced, and he made me feel that I was in good hands. The treatments themself was special customised to my bodytype and my individual needs, and even though I was told that 3 days normally isn't enough to experience the full effect (you need at least 14 days), I still felt that I got a lot out of my stay. The room was spacious and clean, and with an amazing view.
The food was absolutely delicious and always freshly cooked with various ingredients, and always very healthy. Next time I'm definitely coming back for at least 14 days!

Dr. Nalin Sanath Kumara. He conducts a detailed assessment and diagnosis the requirements of your body and accordingly designing the treatments and techniques. Dr. Nalin approaches his sciences on the basis that physical existence, mental existence, and personality are a single unit and that each element is capable of influencing the others, strongly believing in the holistic healing of Ayurveda. Soul Resorts is one of the few luxury Ayurveda Resorts where not only the doctors but also the therapists are professionally training and certified practitioners. Our therapists have years of experience in practicing and healing through Ayurveda and work diligently under the guidance of Dr. Nalin.
Location
Soul Resorts is located in Dickwella which is 22 km east of Matara. This small, charming town has many interesting sights and beautiful beaches which are off the main road.
This area is also famous for whale and dolphin watching, diving, and snorkelling. You can also take long, leisure walks on the serene beach at Soul Resorts.
You can benefit from our Ayurveda retreat in case you feel tired, stressed out or depressed or are struggling with some health issues or if you just want to take a break and rejuvenate from the inside out. Your day at a glance:
- 7.00 am – Multi-course nutrition. Breakfast, including cereals, fruit, traditional health foods, tea, tropical fresh fruit juices
- 8.00 am – Consultation with Doctor and commence therapy. Supplements of herbal brews, tea and tropical fruit juice preparations
- 1.00 pm – Lunch break
- 2.15 pm – Therapy continues
- 4.00 pm – Bath and end of therapy. Relaxation, walk on the beach or swim.
- 6.30 pm – Dinner (before 10.00 pm)

Next to breathing, eating is the most essential bodily function. In order to create a healthy body and mind we must eat the right food. We emphasize on the importance of eating healthy meals and provide our guests with a balanced diet which includes the six Ayurveda tastes viz. sweet, salty, sour, pungent, bitter, and astringent.
Our master chef, Vipula has a vast experience in the culinary industry and over six years of specialized training in Ayurvedic Cuisine. He prepares delicious meals with the freshest vegetarian ingredients and wholesome and healthy red rice which are packed with nutrition. Along with the meals, you will also get regular tea and tropical fruit juices that are recommended by Dr. Nalin and prepared by our Chef.
We provide authentic Ayurvedic treatments that are effective and help our guests to attain holistic development.
For this, we design individual plan after a detailed discussion and assessment with our expert Dr. Nalin. He will have a detailed and in-depth consultation with you and assess your individual needs.
