Beautiful place with great service

I stayed here with my mom for one night. We should have scheduled a couple more nights here during our trip! The place is great. The pool, spa and beach area just around the corner allow for a great time to relax.

We have not tried the restaurant as there were a lot of other beautiful restaurants within the area. The hotel staff is excellent - very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They will always smile and make sure you are enjoying your time.

The city or Sanur does not have much to offer. However, I would always come again to stay here.

    K. Vonny Pawaka Sandhiawan

    Core Subject: Yoga Instructor

Vonny has been practicing yoga since 2008. Then, in 2012, she started teaching yoga specializing in Hatha yoga. Vonny believes that yoga is a unity of body, mind, and soul. Therefore, in her yoga journey, she always tries to improve every aspect of herself, including the body, mind, and soul to become a more positive entity. To Vonny, this belief is a strong foundation for anyone that wants to practice yoga.

This retreat will take place in Sanur, Bali, Indonesia.

Sanur is a seaside town in the southeast of the island of Bali, in Indonesia. Its long stretch of beach offers shallow waters.

Perform your sun salutation in a space created for utmost serenity, under the shade of a traditional thatched bale tucked away in a quiet corner of the resort.

Suda Ening Yoga Bale is a meditative space crafted by artisans from the finest hardwoods, where both the serious practitioner and the eager-to-learn beginner can find the solitude and quietness to focus and take their practice to a deeper level.

Located on the ground floor, these gracious and very spacious 59-square-meter suites feature contemporary comfort and exquisite traditional touches featuring the highest standards of skilled craftsmanship, with direct access to Natah Saji, the central courtyard. Enjoy much-needed downtime in your very own Bale Bengong or private patio and catch a glimpse of the performance taking place on the adjacent terrace or unwind with the magical sounds of Balinese music carried to your room by the soft breeze.

With its colorful sofa-style seating, fairy-lit al fresco vibe, and prime street corner location, Ares Steak & Pasta restaurant at Sudamala Suites & Villas, Sanur is the artistic district’s home of sublime steaks, signature sauces, and pasta nonpareil. With a menu devoted to the ultimate cross-cultural comfort foods: steak and pasta, cooked to perfection with a small but perfectly formed selection of succulent sauces, it’s unsurprising that the second coming of Ares has been a singular success.

Signature dishes from head chef Tonny Kwan Lawrence include the steak with signature Sudamala sauce (sweet soy beurre blanc sauce), steak with Bongkot Bali sauce (inspired by the traditional Balinese sambal Bongkot, with a European twist), and Pasta Emilie (a spicy Bolognese fusion of east and west).

The re-engineered menu retains some classic crowd-pleasers such as traditional fried rice, nasi goreng, and international dishes like tapas, pizzas, sandwiches, and burgers. The restaurant’s proximity to Sudakara ArtSpace presents possibilities for art-inspired events, bespoke menus, and more. Or just drop into the gallery after dinner to experience the artworks of some of Bali’s most significant and inspiring artists. The restaurant also serves personalized a la carte breakfast with a wide variety of selections every morning from 7 to 10 a.m. Ares Steak & Pasta is open every day for lunch and dinner until 11 p.m.
