Perfect Place for a Yoga Vacation or YTT

I've been here now the third time here within six years.

The place was already incredible then, but its constant evolution makes it continously even better.

The combination of an interesting diversity of open minded People, the spirit and thorough daily application of a really unique Yoga standard and health program, delicious food in a tasty and healthy mix of raw, organic and thai cuisine, various activities, not to speak about this georgeous place.

All of this together makes it really something extraordinary and special. I'll be back.

Wow My intention was to dive into asana practise and chose Vikasa for its wide offer of schedule, styles and teachers. It held promises.

There is something for every level and demand and I was defenatly challenged and made progress. you can try out new things and you get inspired.

I felt that the teachers teach with heart. My personal favorits: Serge and Pri both made my practise light through their good humour while sharing their knowledge.

The staff is very friendly and caring. The food is just delicious!

He conducts workshops, one-on-one sessions, lectures, webinars and talks to share his expertise on Sanskrit, Vedic Sciences and Philosophy, Nada Yoga, Meditation, and Kirtan.

    He will teach the Anatomy portion of the Vikasa Yoga Teacher Training. He uses practical examples to help students understand in a better way. He reveals the anatomy of the human body, from muscle to bone to spine and how these spinal structures can cause obstacles in asana practice.


You will be staying at a beautiful location in Koh Samui, Thailand. Our boutique yoga resort and organic restaurant are in a tropical destination which is popularly known as the land of smiles.

What All You Learn:

Asana: Along with learning over 200 poses, you will also get an asana catalogue and complete sequences for your future reference. 

Alignment: Learn geometry and fundamental rules and principles of asana to practice safely and effectively.

Anatomy: An experienced registered physiotherapist will teach you about your body.

Vinyasa: An integral part of Hatha yoga, you will learn the importance of Vinyasa and the transitions between poses. 

Sequencing: You will learn intelligent sequencing and understand the logic behind it. We will provide you with unique cue cards and video tools at the beginning for a better understanding.

Pranayama: Basic techniques such as kapalbhati, nadi shodhana, bhastrika, and others will be taught. 

Methodology: Learn the science behind sequencing with our “Intelligent Freestyle” Approach.

Lifestyle: Lean Vikasa lifestyle which is based on physical, mental, and emotional well-being and spiritual evolution.

Hatha Yoga: Our method is based on the science of hatha yoga and is rooted in the ancient yogic tradition.

Sub-style of Yoga: Learn different sub-styles such as yin, dynamic, and many more.

Nutrition: Very important part of our course. Learn about proper diet to stimulate your yoga practice and keep your body in tune. Establish conscious eating habits.

Marketing: Learn how to work less, earn more, and have more freedom post completing the course.

Philosophy: Learn about ancient texts of Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Bhagavad Gita to understand the basic concepts of yogic philosophy.

Meditation: Daily meditation practice for self-realization.

Relaxation: It is equally important to learn different relaxation techniques and how to apply them to your daily life.

Mindfulness: Rudimentary mental techniques to work with awareness and attention.

Mantra: Practice chanting with the yoga teacher and learn mantras in Sanskrit.

Below is a sample schedule of how your day will look. This may vary from day to day. Some days will have added activities. Yoga classes are on 6 days a week with 1 day off!

You will kick-start your day with an amazing brunch which will include freshly squeezed juice, tea, coffee, wholegrain toasts, a sunny side up, vegetable omelette, boiled veggies with special in-house organic dips, chia seeds pudding pancakes, fresh-cut tropical fruits, and much more.

Dinner includes hot soup, local dishes with tofu, brown rice, vegetarian dishes, fresh salad, dahl, and seafood.

For dessert, you will get fruits, occasional delectable mango sticky rice or other unique Thai savouring. We also offer our homemade signature tea which is perfect to finish your meals.
