Overview

Our 300 Hour Yoga TTC Certificate is designed for students with a thorough knowledge already, perhaps those already teaching yoga, as well as students interested in stepping into the world of yoga, full force. With our team of  highly trained teachers and mentors to guide you, we will explore yoga styles Traditional Hatha, Vinyasa, AshtangaVinyasa (primary and secondary sequence), Mysore style, Yin Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation Techniques.

On completion of your 300 hour Yoga TTC in Goa, you will receive your Multi-Style certificate from Goa Yogashala, a registered Yoga Alliance school and be ready to practice yoga as well as teach your students safely and confidently.

    Mr. Praveen Reddy is an extremely qualified yoga guru who is known to have learned the discipline under some of the highly-revered mentors in the community. After conducting several successful teacher training courses, retreats, workshops, and drop-in classes for the past 8 years, the visionary genius is the co-founder of GOA Yogashala. Additionally, he studied Ashtanga Vinyasa under the guidance of R. Sharath Jois (the grandson of K. Pattabhi Jois – the father of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga). Furthermore, he has attended several Hatha Yoga workshops at Isha Yoga, a yoga foundation run by the illustrious Sadhguru.

    Grishma believes in organic living and has a strong affection for plants and the environment. She has completed her Bachelors in Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery from GAMRC, Goa. She has worked in Ayurveda hospital for one year as a medical Intern. She has also done an advanced 200 hour Hatha Yoga teacher training course from Shiva Shakti Yoga, Goa. She is a competent teacher with plenty of experience and expertise in Ayurveda.

Location

Our Yoga School in Goa or Yogashala is located in Agonda, South Goa. Regarded as one of the finest beaches, the environment blessed with a natural area comprising mountains and the sea. During your practice at our campus, you get an exclusive opportunity to connect with Mother Nature.

Hatha Yoga
We will deepen your understanding and knowledge of your Hatha practice and poses, focusing on the breath, therapeutic asanas and advanced postures.

Ashtanga
Ashtanga is a set sequence of poses, practiced in the same order each time. With a focus on breath, bandhas (energy locks) and Drishti (eye focus), dive in with us to master the full sequence of this disciplined practice. 

Vinyasa
Vinyasa is a dynamic practice that involves seamless transitions from one asana to the next, almost in a dancer-like way. We will equip you with the knowledge of how to structure your classes with peak poses, targeted practice on certain body parts or joints and flowing sequences.

Yin Yoga
During your 300 Hour Training, Yin yoga will be the balance of “yin to your yang” and provide you with the counterpart to your hot practice. With poses held for several minutes at a time, it is a mindful and meditative practice that calms the body and mind.

Anatomy and Physiology
Whilst learning about how pranayama and asana impact the body, in your anatomy and physiology classes, you will study the body and its muscles, tendons, joints and tissues as well as the respiratory and digestive system. These classes are crucial in becoming a well-rounded and safe yoga teacher to yourself and others.

Mudra
Mudrās are most commonly seen in seated postures whilst doing pranayama and meditation. They are used to “lock” energy in specific parts of the body and allow energy to flow into different areas or cycle differently.

Philosophy
We will learn the importance of karma yoga as well as study Raja yoga and Bhakti yoga. We also cover the philosophy of dharma, Maya and Moksha as well as many other concepts and principles.

Adjustments and Alignment
We ensure that you have a deep understanding of the muscles, joints, bones and ligaments of the body and how each are used in asana practice and the effect it has. You will learn how to work with your own and student’s injuries and how to modify or support these within the practice.

Yoga Nidra
In this guided meditation practice, Yoga Nidra stimulates the mind through thoughts of different body parts and visualization. Its benefits are countless as it is incredibly restorative in practice for both body and mind.

Yoga Meditation
Meditation will teach you to prepare the body and mind for your practices by stilling them and allowing spaciousness to enter. There are many different types and techniques of meditation that we cover during the course.

We provide comfortable, spacious accommodation to all our students so they can enjoy their time here at the school during their yoga teacher training course.

All our students are provided with our dedicated helpline from the moment they leave their country. Also, we have full-time assistance available at the campus.

We offer three home cooked, nutritious satvik meals to all our students. Herbal tea is offered twice each day. There are also special arrangements for students with a vegan diet. The meals are offered from Monday (breakfast) till Saturday (lunch). Due to off over the weekends, out kitchen staff aren’t available during Saturday dinner and all of Sunday.

With a progressive and dynamic approach, our best yoga teachers take you on a journey of ancient yogic learning. 

  • Every student must deposit a €200-euro advance fee to register themselves for our course. 
  • The remaining balance must be paid at the school upon arrival.
  • We accept INR, EUR, USD, as well as British Pounds. Due to certain limitations, we cannot accept any other currency at the moment.
  • Students can also make the remaining payment online via PayPal or bank transfer.
  • In the case of online payments, the remaining amount should be transferred at least a week before the beginning of the course.
  • Kindly note, any and all transaction charges, and bank fees are the sole responsibility of the applicant and the school does not bear any responsibility to pay for those charges.
