This monsoon yoga and Ayurveda retreat at Hinterland Village is a great opportunity for you reconnect one’s body and mind whilst experiencing the magical rains of Kerala.

This retreat is designed and flexible for all levels of yoga practitioners. Monsoon retreats have a special significance culturally, as Ayurveda treatments and yoga practices performed during this time are more effective than any other time of the year.

Discover a unique program of yoga sessions or classes for all levels of practitioners. Focus on experiencing one’s light within, the Bodhi center uses a holistic approach to purify and reconnect the body, mind, and the reality. You can enjoy the benefits of meditation, yoga, Ayurveda, and learn how to see or experience that one light.

The daily schedule is subject to change as per conditions. This retreat might be running in parallel with other retreats. When the number of students is less, classes may be combined for the morning meditation or philosophy classes with other groups.

The day usually starts with pranayama and meditation sessions. You will have the chance to deepen your yoga practice on a daily basis for nine days, working on the primary series, and moving onto advanced sets of postures.

Learn more about asanas, anatomy, and perfect certain postures during the afternoon workshops. Relax deeply and restore your body and mind with Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation). You can get a consultation with the on-site Ayurvedic doctors and receive treatments or massages according to your body constitution.

Hinterland Village boasts more than 180 native species of flora that grow abundantly and naturally throughout the year.
