    Core Subject: Yoga, Adventure, Healing

Molly Cofman, brings Traditional Chinese Medicine, modern medicine, yoga, movement and other inspirations together for a healthier, more joyful, vibrant and compassionate life.

Location

Puerto Varas is a city in southern Chile's Lake District. It sits on the southwest banks of the expansive Lake Llanquihue, which offers commanding views of snow-capped Osorno Volcano and Calbuco Volcano, both still active.

Palena is a Chilean commune located in Palena Province, Los Lagos Region. The commune is named after Palena Lake.

Join us for this special trip to a part of Chilean Patagonia that is untouched and relatively unknown.  In this journey you will experience parts of Patagonia that usually do not see many tourists.

This retreat requires a healthy level of fitness, a good dose of adventurous spirit and a splash of humour as we travel beyond big airports and major cities into the wild landscape of Patagonia.

It encourages our understanding of the elements from which we are created and will return; the elements that govern all of life. Patagonia beacons us to breathe in her fresh air, be intoxicated by her beauty and be stunned by nature’s artistry.

For the first and last night of the retreat, we will stay in hotel in Puerto Varas.  For six nights we will stay on a private property near Palena at the edge of the Rio Palena, in simple but comfortable cabins.  This retreat is to invite back the simplicity of life and a reconnecting to nature.  All accommodations are shared with ensuite bathrooms.

Fresh, local, organic fruits, vegetables and grains are used to create nourishing onsite meals. Living close to the earth means using what is fresh and available at the market. Our chef creates colourful, nourishing and fulfilling meals to keep us energised for our explorations and adventures.

We will follow the five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (earth, metal, water, wood, metal) to guide the journey of exploration, adventure and life in Patagonia.

Using each element and its associated qualities in turn as the theme for each day, the adventure itself becomes the yoga, the yoga of life.

We will use each new environment and activity that we find ourselves in as the back-drop for mindful inquiry, practice and above and beyond anything else, enjoyment!

Using ancient wisdoms, practices and insights as our companions, our exploration will dive deep into the essence of life.
