I have just been on Lisa’s weekend retreat in Thrupp and what an amazing yoga experience it was!
The yoga was perfect for a beginner yogi. I had my first gong bath with Ale and restorative yin and yang with Lisa, both amazing and can’t wait to do these again. Both Lisa and Ness were great teachers with a reassuring hand when needed and encouragement when a wobble or unexpected loss of mobility comes into play .
The accommodation was perfect warm log fire and big cosy sofas all perfect for relaxing and a girlie chat. And finally the food ... wow absolutely delicious. Tanya produced the most mouth watering delights especially the chocolate brownies.
All in all a fabulous weekend. If you are considering joining Lisa on one of her retreats do it she is lovely. Thanks Lisa, Ness and Tanya

Enjoyed the yoga, Pilates, meditation, companionship and massages on offer throughout the weekend.
The vegetarian food was tasty and plentiful. And all of this in a lovely setting along the Oxford Canal. Highly recommend!

She will assist you throughout your retreat by improving your posture and making clear the philosophy behind every pose. She discovered yoga on one of her traveling tours in her 20's. The best thing about her is that she enjoys her own self and also loves to travel alone. After some time, she realized that yoga and meditation can recover any person within as she has observed. Her every class is different and also has a unique energy and keeps on unwinding something new and expanding.

Ness started his journey 25 years ago, in 2007. She practiced, and just after some time, she fell in love with Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, and since then she has been practicing yoga. Over the years, she has studied with exceptional yoga Gurus such as John Scott from whom she gained her certificate in Ashtanga Vinyasa

Your rejuvenating retreat will take place at this exquisite, newly renovated place. The stone cottage has comfy, spacious rooms. The bedrooms are elegantly designed with a touch of antiquity, and with attached toilets, an open fireplace, and equipped with all the modern facilities.
For a group of people, the large attic room or en-suite will fit perfectly. The place has its own large yoga shala, fireplace area, dining hall, and a lounge for you to connect with like minded souls.
The in-house devoted chefs of the resort will spoil you with their delightful yet wholesome and nutritional eats prepared using regionally sourced vegetables and fruits.
The food offered will be completely vegetarian and vegan. You can also request for diet feeds by reaching the host. You will be served with two feeds per day, which involves brunch and dinner.
Starting from the tranquil location of the retreat to the ambiance and curriculum of the retreat, everything is special and perfect for a rejuvenating holiday. The other best thing is that you will daily be having an evening gong sound bath.

The resort is elegantly made with huge stones and has everything inside it, such as Yoga shala, Dining halls, a fireplace area, and a lounge to sit and relax. The rooms are built in an old-fashioned way giving you the England vibe. After your wonderful session of yoga, you can take a walk alongside the shimmering canal to unwind and rejuvenate your mind and eyes.
